How we DO Our Quartz Floor Step by Step!

Step 1 :Prepping for a Quartz Epoxy Floor!

  • Diamond Grinding using a stand behind diamond grinder (SASE 6k propane) 
  • use handheld grinder to grind edges so that all concrete is properly abraded and ready for coating. 
  • Finally, vacuuming everything left behind until the whole floor is clear of debris.

Step 2 : Epoxy Base Coat & Broadcast Quartz

  • Start by cutting out all edges with a cut brush. 
  • Use a gaged squeegee spreading the epoxy evenly throughout the floor. 
  • Use 2 back rolls in different directions to evenly spread epoxy. Once evenly spread, we then broadcast quartz into the epoxy throughout the floor until the whole floor is covered.
  • Once this is completed, we let the floor dry.

Step 3: Scrape & Vacumm excess Quartz

  • Using a handheld scrape, we scrape the entire floor in two different directions making sure to knock free all loose quartz. 
  • We then begin vacuuming all excess until there is no more loose quartz anywhere

Step 4: Clear coat & Broadcast Again

  • Using a handheld scrape, we scrape the entire floor in two different directions making sure to knock free all loose quartz. 
  • We then begin vacuuming all excess until there is no more loose quartz anywhere 
  • once this is completed, we let dry.

Step 5: Scrape & Vacumm excess Quartz

  • Using a handheld scraper, we scrape the entire floor in two different directions making sure to knock free all loose quartz. 
  • Once that's completed, we then begin vacuuming all excess, until there is no more loose quartz anywhere.

Step 6: Clear Coat & Done!

  • Finally applying clear coat, again, we cut out all edges using a cut brush and then begin squeegeeing all polyspartic evenly across whole floor.
  •  Finally ending with two passes with roller and done.

All colors can be ordered and mixed as you wish. For example, if you want a quartz floor in all blue, we can order a blue only flake.  What if you don't like the preset blends? you can have us order and blend what you want. For example, say you wanted Q115(blue) & Q1020 (Black), but you wanted 15% black and 85% blue, we can order that custom mix. There is no limitation! Add as many colors as you'd like at any percent you'd like!

These are all the blends that are currently available. However, that doesn't mean it has to be. If you like a blend but don't like a specific color in there, we can have that color pulled from the formula. We can also add colors and change percent of color as well.
