Disaster Clean Up

Right after Ian pushed 11 feet of saltwater through our home, the island was absolute chaos with no power, no running water, and cell service down. Bill and the AHCM crew were out on the beach on Day 1 bringing their own generators and gear. They got straight to work tearing out soaked drywall, ruined insulation, and waterlogged cabinets down to the studs before toxic mold could take over. They worked in miserable heat to help us salvage what was left of our house. Can't thank them enough for stepping up when our community needed muscle the most.

When the storm surge receded, our house was filled with knee-deep muck, ruined furniture, and saltwater damage up to the ceiling. AHCM came in immediately while roads were still barely clear. They hauled out every piece of destroyed debris, gutted the walls down to bare framing, and treated the entire slab to stop mold in its tracks. Having a local team ready to go with heavy-duty equipment right after the hurricane made a horrific situation manageable.

Hurricane Ian flooded our ground-floor retail units with several feet of mud and ocean water. With municipal utilities totally dead across the county, AHCM deployed self-contained equipment and got to work instantly. They gutted the waterlogged drywall, stripped out flooded flooring, and pressure washed the mud off our concrete slabs so our structural engineers could assess the building. Reliable, tough, and fast when every hour counted.

Our canal home took heavy storm surge during Ian that ruined everything below the four-foot mark. Bill’s crew arrived right after the storm cleared with their mobile shop and went straight to work. They gutted the wet sheetrock, removed ruined flooring, and carried out heavy, water-soaked furniture out to the curb. They didn't cut corners on the demo, leaving us with clean, dry studs ready for rebuild. They did such a out standing job. They did probably 15 houses on my street alone. Own and works were all out here slave day in and day for weeks if not a month. They were working from sun up to sun down. Never seen a crew work harder then these guys. Truly remarkable, we are so thankful for you guys!

After Ian flooded our neighborhood, the humidity made mold start growing on everything. we were the 4th house on the list to be done as amazing home and commercial maintenance pretty much did our whole street. But we already had mold growing but bill the owner said don’t worry about it they’ll get rid of it , when they final got to my house To be honest all bottom framing was completely moldy and I thought surely it would have to be all rip out , however bill assured me not to worry and got to work 12 hours later whole bottom level of house was gutter , everything down to bare studs, all furniture , everything was out after next day they soaked everything with chlorine let it sit than began pressure washing blowing all the mud out of the house and removing all the mold. Sure once bill said they were done you could eat off the floor how clean it was and all the wood framing look brand new. I can express how great full I am for hard works like is at this company. If you ever need a disaster clean out / clean up call these guys, only company id ever trust again.

The surge from Hurricane Ian left 6 feet of stagnant bay water inside our living room. AHCM happened to be on our street already working on our neighbors home so we walked up asked what it cost to do the same , they gave us a fair price and we hired them. when we were up next bill and his crew came over and got started, I got say he was very understanding and caring, I’m pretty sure he work about 5 weeks before most of us (everyone on the street using ahcm) could pay as no power and than when we got power, banks couldn’t keep up with withdraws, cell services were down. but never the less these guys kept working day in and day out for over a month straight not one day off. They hauled out wet mattresses, tore down ruined drywall, and scraped mud off the slab. When you're standing in a wrecked house with no power or air conditioning, having a crew like AHCM show up and execute the heavy tear-out is a lifesaver and only thing giving you hope.
